The Roundhouse Aquarium Teaching Center is run by Oceanographic Teaching
Stations (OTS). OTS is a 501 (c)3 non profit (Tax ID #95-3409019)
organization dedicated to teaching people about the oceans, marine life,
and human impacts on the environment. We are one of the only aquariums
in the Los Angeles area open for free seven days a week. We rely solely
on donations and grants to support our operations and programs. All
donations are completely tax-deductable.
FREE admission to the aquarium, which helps us educate over 125,000 visitors each year from around the world. Many of these visitors would not be educated about the ocean environment without free access to the Roundhouse Aquarium.
Our growing volunteer and internship programs, which allow individuals in high school, college, and beyond to gain valuable experience in marine science, biology, and environmental education, and learn valuable life skills.
A highly dedicated and educated staff, committed to educating people about diverse life found in oceans, the impact of oceans on daily lives and the impact humans have on marine environments.
Beautiful and educational tanks and displays with primarily native marine life, and also featuring some special non-native animals.
Donors giving over $100 will be recognized on our Donor Board at the entrance of Roundhouse and on our website - Please put what you would like on the board (eg. "Smith Family") where it asks "Acknowledge Me As"
